Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE)

Perpetuate the Strength and Vitality of Your Lion Gift

Your Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE) signifies that you are a "Woman of Intention" and is established at 20 times your Annual Campaign gift. Your LOJE will make a gift in your name to the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County (JFSPBC) Annual Campaign in perpetuity.

Why Should I Establish a LOJE?

Your LOJE ensures that your Lion gift is here forever to strengthen our community by providing vital dollars to meet the current and emerging needs here in South Palm Beach County, in Israel and around the world.

How is My LOJE Different From My Lion Gift?

When you become a LOJE, you are recognized for having made an investment in the future of our community. A flame is added to your Lion pin designating that you have committed to help wherever and whenever needed, forever.

How Do I Establish My LOJE?

Life Insurance Policies:

Your current or future gift of$ 100,000 or more to the Jacobson Jewish Community is an easy way to gain "immortality". Establishing a life insurance policy will allow you to leverage your current dollars for larger dollars in the future. Premium payments paid to the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation may also be tax-deductible when the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation is the owner and beneficiary of the policy.

Bequests:

Include the Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation in your will or trust.

Sample Bequest Language Added to Your Will:

I give % of my property or $ (or specified property) to the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County located at 9901 Donna Klein Boulevard, Boca Raton, Florida 33428, as a Lion of Judah Endowment Fund gift.

Cash or Appreciated Securities:

You may make an outright donation of cash or use appreciated assets like stock, mutual funds or Israel Bonds to establish your LOJE today and receive a charitable tax deduction for the full market value.

Designation of Retirement Assets:

The Jacobson Jewish Community Foundation can be named as an additional beneficiary of your IRA, 401K or other retirement account(s).
